12-under-par

France's Gregory Bourdy won the EPGA Mallorca

MALLORCA, Spain (AFP) - France's Gregory Bourdy won the EPGA Mallorca Classic on Sunday with a closing final round of 67 for his first European Tour title to qualify for the season-ending Volvo Masters at Valderrama next week.

Bourdy carded three birdies and no bogeys in near flawless fourth round for a 12-under-par total of 268, his only moment of concern coming when his approach to the 16th cleared the water guarding the front of the green by a matter of feet.
The 25-year-old from Bordeaux, who was drenched in champagne by compatriots Thomas Levet and Christian Cevaer on the 18th green, claimed the first prize of 238,000 pounds after finishing two shots clear of England's Sam Little.
Holland's Robert-Jan Derksen took third place on nine under with Scot Alastair Forsyth fourth after a closing 66 while pre-tournament favourite Sergio Garcia, never out of the top two in his three previous appearances in the event, struggled to a closing 73 to finish in a tie for 16th.
"This is fantastic to get my first win," Bourdy said. "I started off nervously and got lucky on the first three holes to make par but after that my game was much better.
"I thought my second shot on the 16th was in the water, I was a bit lucky there, but I'm delighted to win and qualify for the Volvo Masters. I knew I needed to finish in the top three and I made it.
"I might celebrate with my friends tonight if they are not flying home but definitely with my family after next week."

Montrenegro and EU

Union have signed a key agreement.

Montenegro gets boost for EU bid

Montenegro and the European Union have signed a key agreement that is the first step towards EU membership for the former Yugoslav state.

The Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) opens up trade between the EU and Montenegro, which broke away from Serbia in May 2006.
EU-Montenegro talks picked up speed after the union with Serbia ended.
Montenegro - which has just 650,000 inhabitants - has to fulfil various reforms before entering the EU.
Significant judicial and constitutional reforms are required in the tiny country, which is plagued by corruption. It is not yet officially a candidate for EU membership.
The SAA with Montenegro had almost been scuppered by a dispute with Bulgaria, which had insisted that the Cyrillic spelling of "euro" be included in the text.
Bulgaria later backed down after EU envoys pledged to address the spelling issue.
EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn, quoted by Reuters news agency, voiced hope that the SAA with Montenegro would "serve as an inspiration for the other countries of the region too".

New Passenger Terminal

The Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev spearheaded the opening ceremony

A new passenger terminal of Burgas Airport was officially inaugurated Friday marking Bulgaria's Aviation Holiday.

The Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev spearheaded the opening ceremony of the facility, which is to increase the airport's capacity by over 40%.

The net investments in Terminal 3 as part of the concessionaire Fraport Twin Star Airport Management's program, stand at some BGN 7 M.

The new terminal has been fully equipped with modern facilities including such for disabled people.

"No Bulgarian air carrier entered the EU's black list, which means the evaluation of the aviation administration is positive," underlined Minister Mutafchiev at the official opening ceremony.
